Using built-in wizards, developers can manipulate Forms triggers,
objects and properties and apply them across selected or all
Forms at once.
Property Wizard assists developers in modifying
the property of any Forms objects based on user defined input
or templates. It has the advantage of handling multiple Forms
at the same time. One click is sufficient to change the Forms
objects property on single or multiple Form(s).
Trigger Wizard provides developers with
options to Add/Replace/Append to Existing/Delete a string
in a trigger. It also provides developers with the ability
to create a new trigger at the Forms, Block or Item level
or Replace/Delete an existing trigger.
Object Wizard is used for sub-classing or
removing the sub-class from any Forms objects for a given
Form(s). It simplifies the task against a manual sub-classing
effort.
Comparison Wizard provides an option to
compare and extract the differences between older version
code and migrated Forms code in Triggers and Procedures.
Find and Replace is one of ORMIT-Forms'
most powerful features. Using Find and Replace, developers
can search for single or multiple strings within Forms and
then choose to replace them with a customer specified string.
Find and Replace also provides a search report useful for
developers searching for a specific application's exact text/strings/calls.
The find relationship option allows developers to search for
dependencies and references within Forms along with providing
detailed reports.
Mouse Navigation Wizard is designed to assist
users to apply mouse navigation to their forms as they move
up from character or client server based forms. In addition,
Imex Systems Inc. provides a PLL along with ORMIT for customers
who need to implement Mouse navigation. This PLL can be further
customized by the customer or be used to re-create a PLL that
is best suited for their application. By using ORMIT to apply
mouse navigation to multiple forms, blocks and items becomes
a breeze. Using ORMIT Find utility, users can quickly create
reports for Property attributes. This feature is extremely
useful in identifying mandatory fields as required to capture
mouse navigation. The PLL can then be customized to adapt
to a particular scenario and applied across multiple forms
at the same time. ORMIT's mouse navigation application process
tremendously reduces manual effort tremendously in the post-migration
stage. Cosmetic changes like the Mouse navigation can prove
to be very tedious if applied manually to each and every form.
ORMIT makes it easier for developers, as well as provides
organizations with ready documentation to enable the corporation
to re-visit the migration at a later time.
After the migration of an application, developers can easily
continue using ORMIT-Forms for maintaining their Oracle Forms
and Reports environment. Using ORMIT-Forms utilities, developers
can generate analysis reports, check on migration conformity
for obsolescence (if ORMIT-Forms was not used during their
previous migration efforts), and use the ORMIT-Forms Find
and Replace feature for replacing or upgrading libraries to
several Forms as required.
Changes made using ORMIT-Forms inserts a Date & Time
Stamp along with a name and comments as desired. This customizable
feature is useful to track changes made during migration by
developers long after the migration is finished or even while
migrating to the next versions planned for the future.
Customers who procure the full-use versions of ORMIT-Forms
will be provided new releases of ORMIT-Forms to keep in step
with Oracle's releases of Forms versions. |
